Tigerstar is a large, dark tabby tom with unusually long front claws. He was bloodthirsty and malicious, and is often used as a frightening name to scare kits with. Tigerstar killed the ThunderClan deputy, Redtail, in hopes of becoming deputy in his place. Being deputy wasn't enough power for him, so he tried to murder Bluestar, the ThunderClan leader. This revealed his treachery, and he was exiled from the clan, and Fireheart became deputy in his place. Later, he became the ShadowClan leader. He was convinced that he would be able to rule the entire forest, but all nine of his lives were ripped from him at once by Scourge of BloodClan. After he died, instead of joining StarClan, he was sentenced to the Dark Forest of all evil cats.
